As a Physical Therapist, you'll be at the forefront of transforming lives. Your role includes conducting thorough assessments, interpreting results, and designing tailored treatment plans for those facing physical challenges. In addition to providing one-on-one therapy, you'll also oversee a dynamic caseload, collaborate on discharge plans, and stay abreast of the latest advancements in the field. Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate clinical expertise in the principles and practice of physical therapy, including evaluation of patients, including musculoskeletal, neurological, and other physical issues.
  • Develop customized treatment plans, and knowledge of discharge criteria with the intention of returning patient to a functional and pain free life.
  • Perform and document initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.
  • Develop plans describing a treatment strategy, its purpose, and its anticipated outcome.
  • Include exercise regimens at the clinic and at home to increase flexibility, strength, and/or endurance as needed.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of current treatment modalities and procedures and their safe usage.
  • Provide information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and support programs.
  • Help to restore physical function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent permanent disability.
  • Determine patients’ ability to be independent and reintegrate into the workplace or community after injury or illness.
  • Responsible for other duties as needed.

Job requirements

  • Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school (DPT)
  • Current valid state Physical Therapies licensure
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member with physicians, providers, and other staff.
  • Ability to maintain thorough patient notes and suggest recommendations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and be an integral part of the team.
  • Ability to maintain thorough patient notes and timely documentation.
  • Ability to use good reasoning and judgment and react calmly in emergency situations.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 20 - 30 pounds.

Education: Must hold a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from an accredited school.

Experience: At least one year of physical therapy experience (referred)

Salary range: $65k-$90k/year (DOE). Bonus structure included in range.

Mental and Physical Requirements: Varied activities including standing, walking, reaching, bending, and lifting. This position requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Must be able to use a variety of office equipment. May require working under stressful conditions.

Conditions: Normal office and exam room environment. The position requires the ability to work under pressure and with a diverse population, including staff, physicians, clients, patients, and other members of the public on a regular basis. The position may cause exposure to communicable diseases, bodily fluids, and other conditions common to a clinical environment.
