Cedar Point Health in beautiful Montrose, CO is looking for a Human Resources Manager to join our team.
Summary: This position is an integral part of the HR Department. The HR Manager will support and lead with HR Director to recruit, onboard, help develop new programs, guide supervisors/managers, enforce company policies, and work closely with other HR team members. Input, interests and collaboration will always be valued in this role, and the department as a whole.

Responsibilities
· Respond to employee concerns, provide guidance and escalate when necessary
· Assist in recruiting and providing exceptional candidate experience for various positions, focusing on provider recruitment
· Oversee and assist with onboarding and offboarding process in conjunction with HR Director and HR Team
· Research compensation standards set by industry and governing bodies in order to create up to date and competitive salary structures
· Manage open enrollment and benefits explanations, including life events
· Assist with payroll and HRIS system management
· Organize and assist with HR programs and policies
· Lead and create policy manual updates in conjunction with HR Director
· Assist with performance improvement plans. Provide evaluation reviews and coaching for supervisors/managers
· Manage all leave programs (HFWA, PTO, FAMLI, FMLA, Unpaid Time), including tracking and communication and documentation
· Assist HR Director in tracking OT, including meal break reports
· Assist with staff gatherings and events
· Attend department meetings as a knowledgeable HR representative
· Develop, support and maintain internal culture and morale improvement strategies
· Assist in managing HRIS system, updates and new rollouts
· Collaborate with HR team and leadership with recommendations and data to continue growing the organization with meaningful change management
· Assist HR Director with leadership presentation preparation when needed
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Job requirements
Requirements:
· Hybrid work set up considered. Candidate must reside in driving distance of administrative offices.
· Prior supervisor experience (preferred)
· Understanding of HR’s expansive business acumen
· Ability to manage deadlines, stay organized and complete projects as assigned
· Strong attention to detail with document preparation and employee communications, understanding the representation of the department
· Desire to be impactful in an organization and represent values/mission
· An understanding of compliance requirements and Colorado and federal labor laws
· Skill in exercising a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision-making to achieve objectives.
· Skill in identifying, analyzing and resolving staff concerns.
· Knowledge of the ins and outs of interviewing, legalities, anti-discrimination practices and creating a comfortable environment for candidates
· Ability to effectively present information one-on-one and in small groups to employees
· Ability to competently use Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc
Experience: 3+ years of experience in a direct Human Resources position. Within the healthcare field a plus.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or higher, PHR or SHRM-CP a plus.
Mental and Physical Requirements: Must possess the physical and mental abilities to perform the tasks normally associated with an office position that involves standing, sitting, reaching, manual dexterity to operate office machines, stooping, bending to handle files and supplies, and mobility to complete errands or deliveries. May work at computer monitors for prolonged periods with danger of eye strain and muscle pain.
Other Requirements: Commuting to other locations within a 75-mile radius may be required.
Conditions: The position requires the ability to work under pressure and with a diverse population, including staff, physicians, clients, patients, applicants, insurance companies, and other members of the public on a regular basis. Due to the nature of the business, the position may come across communicable diseases and other conditions common in a clinical environment.
